Title Hematology outfit box

Description Black box holding a hematology kit. Kit contains one viewer which resembles a camera, 1 heavy glass microscope slide with the letters AO in a shield, says "Spencer Bright-Line Improved Neubauer 1/10mm deep U.S. Pat. No. 2, 660,091" and has "426358" etched into one clear box on the left, one glass microscope slide with two wells, 1 thin flat glass piece with a notch in one end, 1 glass pipette, 1 blue opaque glass piece and one blue opaque glass piece wrapped in paper, 1 package of rectangular cover glasses for single and double hemacytometers, contained in wax paper, 3 empty packages of redi-lance lancets and 6 Redi-Lance lancets (one opened and loose). There is also 2 long rubber pieces with a cone on each end (says "Yankee"), a cork, and instructions. C.A. Hausser & Son (Phila., USA) viewer was patented September 20, 1932. The Redi-Lance was patented April 19, 1955. The instruction sheet was copyrighted 1955. The Spencer Bright-Line microscope slide was patented November 24, 1953.

Notes Not all pieces from the kit are still present. There are spaces in the lid to hold more equpiment that are not present. Some mildew spotting on the box, stains and some various residue on the outside and inside of the box. Several lancets are missing, and the lancet packets are coming unglued and opening. The packets and instructional paper are yellowed. Directions are folded and stained. The flap between the lid and bottom compartments in the box is ripped and halfway fallen off. Lock of box sticks and does not latch well.
