Title Putnam Fadeless Dyes box
Description Large metal box with front cover that swings up. On the front cover and on the back it says in blue, green, and red font "Putnam Fadeless Dyes Each Package Colors Wool, Silk, Cotton & Mixed Goods Made Only By Munroe Drug Co. Quincy, ILL." Both sides also have a picture of a man riding away from British soldiers on horseback. On the inside of the front cover are descriptions of all of the dye colors and instructions on how to use the dyes. Inside the box are little wooden shelves containing packets of dye, there are 89 dye packets of various colors. The shelves are labeled according to color. The top and sides of the box are painted white.

Notes Front, back and right side are in good condition. Left side paint has rubbed off significantly. Some of the dye packs are in very good condition, others have labels peeling off. One of the top corners is slightly dented.
