Title Ben Bey tobacco container

Description Cigar container. Holds cigars made from Cuba. Has passed through the state of Louisiana. Is 'Cuba's choicest Yield', according to writing in the interior of container. The logo is 'Ben' and 'Bey'' intersecting in a cross. Has Ben Bey trim along the edges. On interior of lid is a picture of a shiek on horseback.

Maker Ben Bey Company

Maker Details Was a popular cigar brand in the early 20th century. Was first produced by Grommes and Kennedy in 1900, and in 1907, the company's name changed to Grommes and Elson. Changed again in 1922 to Nathan Elson and Company.
