Description / Abstract The story of Kris Kringle filling in as Santa Claus for the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade in New York City and becomes the stores Santa Claus. Because he resembles Santa Claus so much, customers and coworkers believe he is really Santa Claus. Kris is then summoned to court where his sanity and autheticity are debated.

Physical Description A red hard covered book. Spine has light blue text stating the title, Davies, and the publishing house. Missing dust jacket.

Author Valentine Davies (1905-1961)

Author Details Davies was a film and television writer, playwright, producer and director. He wrote the story for the film Miracle on 34th Street and also wrote the novella which was published in conjunction with the film. He won the Academy Award for Best Story for MO34S.

Notes The book is missing its cover jacket. General shlef wear affecting the edges and corners of the cover. The same for the spine. The spine is also sunned which has caused the text to fade. Foxing is on the inner cover (front and back.) Pages are stiff.
