Description The box is a faded green-grey cardboard with white and faded red and green text. The front of the box lists the medical claims, the price, and manufacturer information. The sides read Penslar Boraseptine Alkaline. The back lists the active ingredients, and claims in German, French, and Spanish. The bottle is a clear glass and is missing its cork stopper. Its front label is the same as the front side of the box. The back is embossed with Penslar.

Maker Details The Peninsular Chemical Co. made Penslar brand products in Detroit. Founded in 1907, they produced many other healthcare items such as cold medicene, eczema ointment, poison oak remedy, various syrups, and hair tonics. Eventually they became national drugstores. They folded in 1965.

Notes The box is very fragile and rips easily. There are multiple rips and tears on the box. The top of the box has been taped down. Parts of the torn of tabs are inside the box. Mold growth is on the bottom. The bottle's label has faded and is missing its cork. Part of the cork is inside with some liquid residue.
