Title Carl Upmann cigar box

Description Paper covered wood cigar box (2801a) originally containing ten Carl Upmann cigars. Box lid is covered in wood grain look paper and has labels which covered all edges and must be torn to open lid. Front of lid has the words "Carl Upmann" and a crest. Sides of box have paper labels with crest, "Highest Quality," "Utrecht," "Holland," and "Carl Upmann" written on it. Bottom of box is stamped with "10 Sigaren / 7179" and "10 cigars / Net weight / 74 grams." Box lid originally closed with nail but due to water damage and warping, the nail no longer effectively closes the box. Inside are eight of the ten original cigars. Each cigar (2801b-i) is wrapped in cellophane and has a green and gold Carl Upmann sticker.
