Title Diamond Brand Chi-Ches-Ters

Description A small red box with lid which has black and gold text and designs. The lid lists the active ingredients including acetophenetidin, aspirin, and ephedrine sulfate. The box is the small size of 30 tablets for $1.15. On one side states "for temporary relief of functional menstrual pain." Also states directions inside on two sides in gold. The directions inside are written in red text with dosage, claims, and a list of other products. The pills are still wrapped in plastic and are round and white with some discoloration.

Maker Details The company was founded before 1900. Originally, this product was marketed as a "secret" due to the nature of intent: treating amenorrhea, dysmenorrhea, and quite possibly abortions. The product used to contain pennyroyal. Not much is known of the company after the 1950s.
