Title Austrian costume

Description Traditional Austrian costume consisting of two drindl skirts, a bodice, and a black cumberband panel. First drindl (2782a) is black with a tiny white and blue print which resembles a flower bud. Hem has three different fabrics used on inside - off white woven, purple woven stripe, and red and white woven stripe. Skirt has a tuck near bottom sewn with red thread and a double hem sewn with white thread. Second drindl (2782b) is black with a red, purple, yellow, green, and white floral design. Underside of hem is a red, pink, and white striped fabric. Hem is double sewn with blue thread. Bodice (2782c) is green fabric with red and pink rose print. Bodice is lined with muslin and has a metal hook and eye closure. Bottom edge of front panel has red stripe with white rick rack. Cumberband panel (2782d) is black cotton with colored decorative stitching and pleats. Panel has two bright pink twill ties on one end.
