Place of Origin

Maker Father John's Medicine Co., Inc.

Maker Details The company started in Lowell, Massachusetts back in 1855 when the ailing Fr. John stopped into George H. Carlton and Charles Hovey's drugstore and was given a tonic that cured him. The locals requested the tonic as "Father John's Medicine" and the druggists started to produce the cure, name and all. It is still being sold today.
