Title Tindeco Candy Tin with Dancing Girl

Description A round blue-green tin with a black border on the lid. Features "Dancing Girl" by Harrison Fisher on the lid. The girl is wearing a strapless dress and was a choker veil that she is holding up to cover her face. Fisher's signature is on the left, and "Dancing Girl" is below the girl. "Tindeco" is embossed on the bottom of the tin.

Maker Tindeco

Maker Details Tindeco was founded in 1914 in Baltimore. They produced tins for the American Tobacco Comapany, and produced various candy and cookie tins and talcum canisters. The company was sold in 1935 to Owens-Illinois Glass Comapny in 1935, then sold to Continental Can Co. in New York in 1944. Continental closed in 1965.
