Description A small light blue tin with blue crosshatching on its edges. On the lid, there is dark blue and gold text. "Pleasant laxative delightfully effective," "Cascarets Candy Cathartic." This is the 25 cent tin whic would have contained 16 tablets. The bottom of the tin lists the directions.

Maker Details Cascarets were created by the Sterling Products Inc. in 1894 as a way to make taking laxatives taste better than castor oil. By 1899, the company was selling over 5 million a year. The company was still producing them well into the 1940s.
