Maker Emerson Drug Co.

Maker Details Isaac Emerson created his company in 1888 in Baltimore, Maryland. Bromo-Seltzer was sold in glass bottles until the 1960s when the company switched to plastic bottles. Emerson sold Bromo-Seltzer from the late 1800s until 1975 when bromides were withdrawn from the market because of their high levels of toxicity.
