Description Lime green tin with red accents. Originally held Moore Push-Thumbtacks by the Moore Push-Pin Co. No. 42 (7/16 in), Superior Steel, Extra Strong, Very fine point. Bottom of tin says "Mfr's of the World Famous Moore Push-Pins Push-Less Hangers".

Maker Details Edwin Moore invented the "push-pin" in 1900 and founded the Moore Push-Pin Company. Moore described the push-pin as a pin with a handle. The Company continued to grow, and was incorporated on July 19, 1904, as the "Moore Push-Pin Company." Over the next few years, Mr. Moore invented and patented many other items, such as the picture hangers and map tacks that they still make and sell today.
