Description A rectangular yellow box. The base, CMY2582a, is plain white. The lid, CMY2582b, has Baby Ruth printed in blue. It also has a border around the middle and each side. the 5 cent symbol is also advertised on the box. Curtiss candy company is also printed on the box.

Maker Curtiss Candy Company

Maker Details The Curtiss Candy Company was founded in 1916 by Otto Schnering near Chicago, Illinois. Their first confectionery item was Kandy Kake, later refashioned in 1921 as the log-shaped Baby Ruth. In 1964, Standard Brands purchased Curtiss Candy Company. Standard Brands merged with Nabisco in 1981. In 1990, RJR Nabisco sold the Curtiss brands to Nestlé. This candy is still made today.
