Description / Abstract Song translates to "A Letter for Sweetheart". Includes violin music, but not piano. Lyrics by M. Aronson. Music by Joseph M. Rumshisky.

Physical Description One piece of rectangular paper folded in half. No interior pages. Cover is glossy with red ink. Image of man and woman holding hands at right. Man is holding suitcase. They are infront of the ocean with ships. Text at top "Sung with Great Success / A Brivele / Der Kale." Words in Hebrew at left. At lower left quadrant is author information and flower illustration. At lower edge center is harp shape with text "Hebrew Publishing Co.". For piano or violin. On interior right page music for the violin is printed in black ink. On back cover there are illustrations in red with other sheet music from the publisher.

Author Joseph M. Rumshinsky

Author Details Rumshinsky was a Jewish composer born in Lithuania. He is considered one fo the "big four" of American Yiddish theater.

Notes Light yellowing around edges. Two tears at top edge at left and right. Top right corner is creased and fragile - starting to tear. Interior is yellowed. Red ink on left interior page. On bakc cover red ink is starting to fade. Based on records of the sheet music in the Library of Congress, this should have 6 pages - interior pages are missing.
