Summary very poor

Assessor BN

Notes Textile is incredibly fragile - use caution when handling. The decals are putting stress on the silk banner causing it is tear. On the museum's Facebook, there is a photograph taken in April 2013 and there are definitely more tears and larger tears in the banner. Significant tears in fabric throughout. Large tear in "M" and "S" in Mouse. Hole by Mickey's right hand. Stain about 3" above Mickey's tail by his shorts. Decals are worn with cracking in surface. Leatherette on border is worn and has creases. Rope along top eyelets is frayed on edges. Fringe is discolored. Black strings fraying on sides. Pieces of cellophane tape are stuck to back throughout.
