Maker Details Found little information about Bear Brand socks. There are some knitting and crochet books that have the logo from the 1950s-1960s. A postcard from 1910 has an image of a bear with logo and states that they are made by the Paramount Knitting Co.

Notes Overall, front and back sides are worn with light scuff marks and scratches. Edges are worn and frayed at corners. At top edge center there is a tear in paper. Upper left corner is creased. Discoloration along edges. White marks along right edge below center. On back, discoloration and yellowing along edges. Writing in pencil at right edge center. Crease at upper right corner about 3" down from top edge. White discoloration and wear at lower edge to right of left corner, possible damage from liquid. Tear at right edge about 2" above lower right corner.
