Title Buffalo Ranch Real Wild West poster

Description Large rectangular print enclosed in plastic with tape around edges and cardboard backing. Print is in color. at center is text in red block "Buffalo Ranch / Real Wild West". At top 1/2 of paper is illustration of men riding camels; then men on horses with a large ball and decorative flourish that states "Equestrian Foot Ball"; next to it are American Indians on horses with a building in the background wiht people watching. At bottom is an illustration of American Indians around a campfire with teepees in background. At bottom is text "The Real Indian War Dance" Below are tow blue shapes with text "A Lesson in the history of pioneer days" and "Games of the Real Red Men Camel Races" At lower right edge is makers mark "Milwaukee Riverside Printing Co - Chicago 3119"

Notes Overall, paper is yellowed on edges. Surface wear. Paper is bubbled and wrinkled from enclosure. At right edge above center there is a large "L" shaped tear in paper. At lower right edge by campfire illustration there are two scraches or creased (cannot tell through plastic). Tear to left edge about 4" above botton brown box. Tear about 16" down from top edge center. Plastic is worn, scratched with scuff marks. Cardboard backing is worn with scratches and dents in top layer.

Notes Needs further research. Through Internet searches, there are numerous posters like this one. None of the auction sites were reliable in dating the poster and vary in date of printing. Need to determine the extact date of printing and who produced the reproduction. Looks like it was reproduced several times, and original lithographs sat in storage for some time as well, but this is also unreliable information.
