Description Framed print paper poster for The Silver Slipper. Frame is wood with glass covering and cardboard backing with a wire across for hanging. Color ink with green background. Along top are trees with orange circles. Running horizontally along center is the same image of a woman in yellow dress sitting at table. Behind table is a waiter in black suit holidng tray with bottle of champagne. At right edge below illustration is maker's mark for David Allen & Sons Ltd. At upper left corner "Theatre Royal / Chatham. / Monday, June 8th, for Six Nights / Matinee, Wednesday, June 10th". Along bottom is text "Mr. Tom B. Davis's Company in / The Silver Slipper / Book by Owen Hall / Lyrics by W.H. Risque Music by Leslie Stuart. / Additional Numbers by Landon Ronald."

Notes Wire on back has sharp edges use caution when handing. Overall, poster is faded, especially the red ink in the trees. Paper is discolored and yellowed around edges. Staining along right edge. Crease horizontally across center. Creases at upper left corner. Wear on surface of paper. Frame is worn with chips and scratches. Dust accretions on frame and glass. On back, green stape around edges is loose and brittle. Paper on back is dirty and stained. "Farley" written in black ink across back. Sticker at lower right corner and stamp at lower edge to left of center. Scratches on paper throughouth. Scuff marks. Damage from liquid along right edge. Wire is tarnished.
