Title Blue Bird Cast Iron Stove

Description Cast iron Blue Bird stove. Stove is yellow with aqua detailing. 3 opening hinged cabinets. Stove was found with small silver pan (CMY001557b). Pan appears to be made of different metal. "Blue Bird" insignia on the oven door.

Maker Grey Iron Casting Company

Maker Details Grey Iron Casting Co. is best-known as a manufacturer of cast-iron soldiers and other toys. The company was in business from the late 1800s until the mid-1900s. Grey Iron made toys, banks, hardware, tools and other iron products. It was sold in 1967, and the name was changed to Donsco Inc. in 1974. This maker made similar stoves. There are no markings indicating that Grey Iron is the definite maker.
