Notes There is loss of glass at upper right corner, surface scratches and wear. Frame has surface scratches and edge wear. Print has brown and black staining across front - dirt. At top edge center there is a pin hole from hanging. AT bottom edge the paper is creased vertically. Surface scratches on paper. On back, cardboard backing is worn and discolored. Hole at bottom edge center. Crease at left edge center. At lower right corner frame has area of loss, also lower left corner. At upper right corner of frame two pieces of wood have separated.

Notes Julius Peter Heil was the 30th Governor of Wisconsin. He held the position from 1939-1943. He was born in 1876 in Dussmund an der Mosel, Germany. He also founded the Heil Railjoint Company in Milwaukee, WI. The company manufacturered truck bodies. He was a Republican. Heil died in 1949.
