Title Guys and Dolls poster

Description Framed, print sign for the Milwaukee B'Nai B'rith Council's benefit performance of Guys and Dolls. Two pieces of paper, one is adhered to a large piece about 3" down from top edge; slightly darker color. Teal with black print. At top is text "Milwaukee B'Nai B'rith Council Welcomes / You to the Benefit Preformance [sic] of". Below is attached paper with photographs and text for Guys and Dolls starring Gordon & Sheila MacRae. Below on same piece of paper is text with performance info, Tuesday, June 18, 1963 at teh Melody Top Theater on West Good Hope at North 72nd. Below on back sheet of paper is text about B'nai B'rith Council. Frame is black, with glass over and cardboard backing attached with nails and masking tape.

Notes Frame and cardboard backing are not archival. Metal nails attach cardboard backing. Overall, paper is yellowed on edges. On left edge below center there are black marks on paper. The adhered piece of paper is creased four times horizontally across height. At center to left there is a blue mark on paper by "Milwaukee" on adhered paper. Black frame has some scuff marks. White marks on right edge near corner. On back, masking tape is yellowed at corners.Tape is brittle.
