Place of Origin

Maker Allen B. Wrisley Co.

Maker Details Not much could be found on this company. Around the turn of the 20th century it filed a lawsuit against the Iowa Soap Company for using the term "Our Country" on their laundry soap. Wrisley had laundry soap that was named "Old Country." They thought that Iowa Soap Company's name was too close to Wrisley's and was using the trademark. It ruled against Wrisley.
