Description Box of True American brand Diamond Matches. Box slip cover (CMY001350a) is rectangular, cardboard with blue and red design. Top has image of a diamond and a Native American head in regalia. Top reads "Diamond/True American/Brand/Matches." Front reads "vol. 16. cu. in./Diamond True American Matches/The Diamond Match Company." Front also has match strip. Back reads "[star] True American/Brand/Diamond Matches." Bottom of cover reads "Diamond Matches [inside bald eagle]/ The Diamond Match Company." Box insert (CMY001350b) is a rectangular cardboard box with one side open to hold matches. Matches were originally in the box, but removed for safety reasons (3/6/14). Advertising insert (CMY001350c) is a red/blue advertisement for "Diamond Brand Big Box Matches." Insert has images of the bald eagles, and Big Box Matches.

Notes Slip cover (CMY001350a) has some coloring/smudging on the top and a scratch from the label. Some corners have minor wear. Box insert (CMY001350b) has some discoloring but is in good condition structurally. Advertising insert (CMY001350c) is in very good condition with only minor bending outwards on one side.
