Description Paper/Foil packet of "Summer-Time" chewing/smoking tobacco. Paper is yellow with red and blue print. Illustration of man in formal wear sitting on a beach staring at girl in red dress. Front reads "Good Old/Summer-Time/Long Cut/Tobacco/Net Weight 1 1/2 ounces." Back reads "Summer-Time/Long Cut/Tobacco." Left side has manufacturing information and "Made in U.S.A". Right side has additional manufacturing information. Bottom reads "Summer-Time." Inside foil packet has blue tax stamp present.

Maker Details Manufactured by Spaulding & Merrick (Liggett & Myers Tobacco Co., Successor). Liggett & Myers Tobacco Company (L&M) has existed in some form since before the War of 1812. It began to establish itself in St. Louis, Missouri, in the 1860s, and the company was incorporated in 1873. Liggett & Myers specialized in plug tobacco, a form of chewing tobacco, but they soon began producing cigarettes, as well. Liggett Group, formerly known as Liggett & Myers Tobacco Company, is the fourth largest tobacco company in the United States
