Title Strater Brothers Tobacco Tin

Description Red tin with gold and black trim and designs. Company and product names are printed in gold text. "Smoke or Chew" printed on the sides. Both front and back have the same label. Lid has a handle and closable latch. Small union stamp on inside. The tin is empty as well.

Maker Strater Brothers

Maker Details The Strater Brothers Tobacco Company of Louisville manufactured several popular brands of chewing and smoking tobacco. The Burley Tobacco Company purchased Strater Brothers in 1912. Following the purchase, the company became known as the Strater Brothers branch of the Burley Tobacco Company.
