Title Red Dot Cigar Box

Description Paper covered wooden box for Red Dot Cigars. Each side, save for the bottom, features an illustration of a red-haired woman's face, and the Red Dot name. Top cover, front, and left side have the phrase "Truly Different" printed. Federal Cigar Company name on right of front side. Interior has the same woman's face, Red Dot name underneath top cover along with the 5 cent price.

Maker Details To help organize all the different types of companies and brands the Trust was acquiring, in 1907 they created a new branch called the “Federal Cigar Company” to manage all the lower priced cigar brands owned by the Trust, including cheroots, stogies, and little cigars. That included Barnes-Smith and RED DOT.
