Description / Abstract Collection of Little Archie Comics, including: "Bully for You," "Spotty Takes the Cake," "The Glacier Glow-Gun," "Stampede!" "A Happy Holiday," "An Adventure in Money," and "Sled With A Mission." Also includes various ads and offers. Original price: 25 cents. Little Archie was a comic book published by Archie comics from 1956 until the mid-1990s, lasting 140 issues. Little Archie #1 is considered to be "scarce" by the Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide (only 20-100 copies exist). Bob Bolling was selected to write and draw the new strip, which introduced new plots and characters to the Archie legend by concentrating on the adventures of the gang during their early elementary school days. Bolling's stories were consistently written and drawn with a sensitivity unusual to comic book features. Little Archie tales often hit home with a poignant moment, a moral lesson, believable characters exhibiting real emotions and clever storylines. Dexter Taylor was the second cartoonist to work

Publisher Details Archie Comic Publications, Inc. is an American comic book publisher headquartered in the Village of Mamaroneck, New York,[2][3] The comic is known for its many series featuring the fictional teenagers Archie Andrews, Betty Cooper, Veronica Lodge, Reggie Mantle and Jughead Jones. The characters were created by publisher/editor John L. Goldwater, written by Vic Bloom and drawn by Bob Montana. They were based in part on people met by Goldwater "in the Midwest" during his travels throughout the United States while looking for jobs and places to stay.
