Title Wishbone Coffee can

Description Round, metal can. A- lid is painted gold (not original). Fits onto can. B- Can is painted green with gold accents. At front has graphic of wishbone with one side missing. Text reads, "Wish Bone / Combination / Coffee" At left of front graphic "A / Perfect / Blend", at right of front graphic, "Of / Old Crop / Coffees". On back there is a black and gold graphic with text, "Bunn Capitol Grocery Co. / Importers, Manufacturers / and / Wholesale / Grocers / Bloomington, / Illinois / Springfield, / Illinois.". Metal handle attached to left and right sides with circular metal piece. Bottom of can is painted gold (not original) with embossed logo for "General Cans' at center.

Notes Lid is stuck onto the can. A- The lid has been painted gold at a later time. There is wear and light scraches on the top and edges. Dents along left edge to center of top and bottom. Small amount of rusting on edges. B- The handle is rusted and loose from both sides. It is bent and misshaped, but still rounded. The sides of the can are worn, light scratches around circumference. Small spots of rust. The gold printed areas on the sides are worn and spotted with rust. Gold paint spot to left of front logo. Dent at bottom edge to left of front logo. On back of can, gold print has spots of rust. Scratch with loss of paint at lower edge. Right side has gold paint at bottom edge and to the left of the paint a vertical scratch. Bottom edge of can is rusted. On bottom of can gold paint is not original. There is a texture to the paint, possible the bottom of the can is rusted or tarnished underneath. Black scratches around edges in some areas.
