Notes Chero-Cola (precursor to Royal Crown Company) introduced Nehi soda in 1924 with multiple flavors. The company was started by Claude Hatcher In 1928, the company became the Nehi Corporation. Most advertisements has the image of a woman's leg, a play on "knee-high". The company suffered during the Great Depression, but business picked up again in the 1940s. By the 1950s, the name was changed to Royal Crown Company after Chero-Cola was renamed RC Cola. http://www.retroplanet.com/blog/soda-pop-of-the-week/nehi-soda/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nehi
