Title Victoria Brand Vegetable Oil
Description A large rectangular metal can that used to contain vegetable oil. The colors on the can are gold, black red, peach and white. The front and back labels are the same: the name Victoria Brand in white and gold on a black ribbon background. There is an image of a white, gold, and red crest with the name Victoria across the middle in the upper left hand corner. Throughout the label are images of gold coins with different images of flags and a crown of leaves. The label has writing in the middle saying that it is 90% vegetable and 10% olive oil. At the bottom it says that it is 128 oz or one gallon and was packed by the J.P. Grazino Grocery Company. All of these images are on a peach background. The left and right labels are the same as well. It has the same image as the front with the gold coins and the crest as well as the name brand. The only difference on the side label is what the oil can be used for like salads, cooking, and baking.

Maker Details In 1937 the J.P. Graziano Grocery Company started on Randolph Street in Chicago’s West Loop by a recent immigrant from Italy. He had a few simple goals in mind: place an emphasis on customer service and hand pick Italian food suppliers who offer the highest quality products. The company still exists today.
