Title Votes for women statue

Description A woman dressed in a yellow coat holidng a "votes for women" banner in one hand while holding out a petition in her other raised hand. Her clothing is of the time period women were agitating for the vote ca. 1915-1920. This piece was made in 1977 in England by Royal Doulton Tablewear.

Maker Details The Royal Doulton Company was an English company producing tableware and collectables, dating from 1815. Operating originally in London, its reputation grew in The Potteries, where it was a latecomer compared to Royal Crown Derby, Royal Worcester, Wedgwood, Spode and Mintons.
