Title Coca-Cola Truck

Description Yellow metal truck(a) with "Buddy L" on driver and passengers door. On the back it is open with a "drink Coca-Cola" advertisment. The back also contains four small red cartons(b-e) with coke bottles in them. The tires are black and white and also say "Buddy L" on them. Truck is associated with the 1950's.

Maker Details Buddy "L" toys were originally manufactured by the Moline Pressed Steel Company, started by Fred A. Lundahl in 1910. They did not start making toys until 1921. In November 2000, Empire of Carolina and its wholly owned subsidiary, Empire Industries, Inc., filed for bankruptcy and, in July 2001, Empire Industries was sold substantially to Alpha International, Inc, also known as the Gearbox Pedal Car Company, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa
