Maker Wisconsin Pharmacal Co.

Maker Details Milwaukee, WIS. Founded in 1896 in a brick building on Water Street in Milwaukee, the young company was a pharmacy co-op retailer with ambition. Pharmacal has grown and is no longer a pharmacy co-op retailer but the leading manufacturer of brands in the outdoor recreation and safety markets. CEO John Wundrock bought Wisconsin Pharmacal in the early 1970s as a young entrepreneur. After moving the company to Jackson, growing it to over $20 million in sales, and then selling it to a private equity group in 1996, John repurchased Wisconsin Pharmacal in June, 2003.

Notes Paper label has some small tears on the upper and lower edges. A fold mark runs across the front from top to bottom. No major tears are seen. Label has some smudges throughout but no major stains. Writing can be read clearly. Something is written in pencil on the front to the left of "Price 25 cents". There are some water stains on and around the bottom. There is tape on the right portion of the bottom coming up a little on the sides. Both top and bottom cardboard are very dirty. Top punched holes were never broken/opened. Contents still inside.
