Title Kilflea Powder

Description Cylindrical tin container of Kilflea Powder. Tin is green with blue and red writing. Lid does not open. There is a round twist cap, green and gold, with 7 small holes from where the powder would pour when turned open. It no longer turns. Tin says "Kilflea Powder" on front and has a picture of a red bulldog with words "Clayton's Dog Remedies" on the dog's body. Then it follows "To rid dogs, cats, birds and many other domestic animals of fleas and lice". It continues with some more info on other uses. Then it says "Contains 3 ounces Inert Talc 25%", "Price 35 cents", "Dr. Geo. W. Clayton Districutor 1810 Wabash Ave. Chicago". Back has more details on the product's uses and directions on how to apply. On the lid it says "Clayton Dog Remedies" and "Kilflea Powder" on both front and back. Bottom is gold.

Notes Gold bottom and gold portion of the twist cap have rust. Some rust is also present on the rim on the upper part of the tin and on the rim of top lid and the twist cap. Tin's green surface has some small scratches as well as dirt smudges and stains on several areas. The green on the back shows discoloration being of a different tone of green.
