Title Dr. LeGear's Poultry Prescription
Description Cardboard box cointaining "Dr. LeGear's Improved Poultry Prescription Concentrated", " a tonic for all poultry". Box colors are yellow, red, and black. The front label has the name of the product, as stated above, and a picture of Dr. LeGear and two chickens. Below the product's name, the ingredients are listed followed by "Dr. L. D. LeGear Medicine Co. St. Louis, Mo, USA". 1 lb. box. On the back, the directions are listed and further explanation of the product. On one side of the box more specifics on the product's use and a seal of "Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation". Other side contains a guarantee by the company as well as a list of all ingredients. Top and bottom of the box says "Dr. LeGear's Improved Poultry Prescription Concentrated". Paper label wrapping the box is unopened and box still has original contents.

He was a famous Veterinary Surgeon whose remedies for stock and poultry had a world-wide reputation. Dr. LeGear was also authority on poultry and stock raising, and was a nationally known poultry breeder. Also a noted author and lecturer.

Notes Overall the box is in good condition, still unopened and has original containts. Paper label has some wear on both top and bottom corners. On the left side portion of the box, where the label closes, paper has some tears along the edges. On the back part, there are also some tears on the left lower side. Paper label is dirty, particularly on the botom and top portion. Very little discoloration is also seen on some areas.
