Title Plankinton Cigar Box

Description The Plankinton G.A. Co Habana is engraved on the top with a circle. when you open the box there is a image of a large building with the large letters saying the Plankington in red. Geo. Allanson Co. distributors. Milwaukee WI the was a seal with a gold face above what looks to be a red crest. on on side Flor Fina is engraved which is translated from Spanish meaning fine flower. the bottom of the box has Factory NO. 993 3rd Dist. N.Y. 50 is engraved. there is a label that says (fact?)ory No. 993, 3d District, State of New York Notice--The manfacturers of the Cigars herein contained have complied with all the requirements of law. Every person is cautioned not to use either this box for cigars again, or the stamp thereon again, nor remove the contentd of this box without destorying said stamp, under the penalties provided by law in such cases.

Notes the top of the box had duston the borders and some wear on the borders. there is a dent in the middle of the top part of the border. there is an image of a building on the left side of the box that runs onto the top of the box and says the plankinton on the top in red. the image is missing the top left corner on the side of the box and the border on this side shows wear. on the front of the box the seal starts but most of the seal is on the top of the box and was broken when someone opened the box the plankintons is engraved on the front and there is wear on the border and some green labe paper on the side that comes from the top of the box. the right side has a engraved design encircling Flor Fina which is also engraved the back has border wear. the bottom has two large pencil marks and a large blue crayon mark. border problems resulting from wear and black smudges. top left part of a label is torn off on the bottom
