Object Desc Brown wooden Dad's crate with black labeling and six compartments. Dad's was started in Chicago in 1937 and trademarked in 1938. One of the most consumed brands of root beer in the U.S. in 1940s. Purchased by Hedinger Brands, LLC in 2007.
