Maker Benedict

Maker Details Benedict Manufacturing Company was founded in 1863 by M.F. Benedict and was a leading industry in East Syracuse until just after the war years in 1945 - manufacturing silver plated ware. The factory employed 250 workers through the depressions years, sometimes only for two or three days a week. Benedict's most famous line, Indestructo, was a complete line of silverware designed specifically for hospitals, restaurants, soda fountains, hotels, clubs, and institutions.]
