Maker Remington

Maker Details Remington's typewriters were unrivaled in popularity until Underwood came along. However, Underwood ended up licensing their company to Remington. Remington began to produce the Underwood 'noiseless' models at the Remington factory. Remington bought the Noiseless typewriter company in 1924. This noiseless typewriter would have cost around $100.00. The typewriter was first invented by Christopher Latham Sholes in 1868.

Summary Very Good

Assessor Christina Beebe

Notes The typewriter casing looks very nice and well-cared-for; Some of the keys look to be stuck down; Still contains the belt in the back of the unit;
